Blog Designer Pro provides an administration panel for creating and managing WordPress blog, archive, and single-post layouts without modifying theme code or CSS files. The Pro edition includes 50 default blog templates with more than 200 option combinations, covering full-width and list layouts, multi-column grids, horizontal and vertical timelines, magazine designs, sliders with featured pictures, and masonry layouts.

Lists and magazine designs suit text-led posts, while grids, sliders, and masonry layouts give featured images more space. Timelines arrange posts chronologically.

Assign layouts to archives and posts

Create unlimited blog, archive, and single-post layouts. The add-on includes more than 40 archive layout designs for category, tag, author, date, and search-result pages, plus more than 40 single-post layout designs. Layouts can support custom post types, date-range selection, and category or tag filtering. You can also set various designs for different categories.

A single-template override option applies a selected design and works with theme compatibility. Blog and archive layouts can be duplicated with one click, and import and export tools transfer layouts.

Set the visual and content details

Color presets, alternative post background colors, text colors, font sizes, summary lengths, and custom Read More text let you adjust each layout’s presentation. The plugin supports more than 600 Font Awesome icons and more than 800 Google font families. Social sharing buttons are available in square or circle styles.

Additional settings include an picture media panel, an Isotop filter for categories and tags, and a recent-posts sidebar widget. Related posts can be configured by category and column selection.

Connect builders and other extensions

Blog Designer Pro supports WPBakery, Divi Builder, and BE Page Builder. Co-Authors Plus supports displaying multiple post authors, and Loco Translate supports translation workflows. WooCommerce, WooCommerce single and archive pages, and the Easy Digital Downloads plugin are also supported. Developers can use the available action and filter hooks.

Create and display a layout

Install Blog Designer Pro in WordPress, open its administration panel, and create a blog, archive, or single-post layout. Select a template, adjust the content and style settings, then assign the layout to the relevant page or content type. You can also display layouts with the [wp_blog_designer] shortcode. The plugin is translation ready and includes a POT file.
