YouTube Showcase Pro
YouTube Showcase Pro is the paid edition of a WordPress add-on for organizing YouTube videos into galleries, playlists, and video grids. Add videos manually from the dashboard with the 11-character Video ID from each YouTube URL, or set up automatic synchronization for a whole channel or playlist.

YouTube Showcase Pro is the paid edition of a WordPress add-on for organizing YouTube videos into galleries, playlists, and video grids. Add videos manually from the dashboard with the 11-character Video ID from each YouTube URL, or set up automatic synchronization for a whole channel or playlist.
Synchronization reduces manual entry for channel and playlist content. It is separate from designing the gallery: use the YouTube Showcase block in the WordPress Block Editor to build a show, or use a shortcode with a classic editing workflow.
Choose a layout for the content
The block includes a real-time sidebar preview, so you can see setting changes while editing. Presentation options include a cinematic playlist with a large featured player and thumbnail navigation, responsive video grids, and Pro layouts such as masonry and Coverflow. Layouts adapt to mobile and tablet screens; playlist navigation changes to icons on mobile.
Thumbnail ratios are available in 16:9 and 4:3. The Pro edition also includes lightbox playback, which opens a video in a popup while visitors remain on the page, and frontend search and filters for browsing by category or tag.
Video details and individual pages
You can add custom text to each video. In a gallery view, an excerpt can appear below the main video; the full text appears on that video's individual page. Automated video pages include WordPress comments, and video URL slugs can be adjusted for website branding.
Set up a gallery in WordPress
- Add the plugin and open the Video menu in the dashboard.
- Enter YouTube Video IDs, or configure synchronization for a channel or playlist.
- Design the gallery with the YouTube Showcase block and its live preview, or insert a shortcode.
- Select a layout, thumbnail ratio, categories, custom text, and Pro display options, then publish.
The Optional Setup Assistant can make a gallery page and a four-column responsive grid page. Use these layouts to present a channel, feature a playlist, or organize instructional, marketing, and creator videos into a browsable archive. Optimized embed loading is also included.
