WPEPP Pro is the paid edition of WPEPP, with login security, access rules, and form styling in the WordPress dashboard. WPEPP Pro is the paid edition of WPEPP, with login security, access rules, and form styling in the WordPress dashboard. Its controls address different needs: TOTP adds a verification step at login, reCAPTCHA can challenge login and registration submissions, and content rules control access to a website or selected pages.
Configure login protection
Set a custom URL slug to replace the standard wp-login.php address; the default address then returns a 404 error. You can pick where visitors go after a successful login and generate secure, one-time auto-login links for specific users.
Two-factor authentication uses TOTP. Users scan a QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, or another TOTP app. It follows RFC 6238, includes eight one-time recovery codes, and can be required for selected user roles.
Google reCAPTCHA can be added to login and registration forms; setup requires a Site Key and Secret Key. Login and registration honeypots catch automated submissions. Configurable login attempt limits track failures by IP address and can lock out an IP after repeated attempts. Registration rate limiting helps control mass signups.
Set website-wide or page-level access
Use site access control when visitors must log in before viewing the site. For individual posts or pages, Pro content locking can be configured from the editor sidebar. The Member Only page template shows logged-out visitors a login form and shows the page content after they sign in.
Conditional Display can show or conceal content blocks based on login status, user role, device type, and other available conditions. Protected content can also have a scheduled expiry date.
Style login and password forms
The visual editor lets you set the login background to a color, gradient, image, or video, add a custom logo, and style the form, fields, buttons, links, and error messages. Review changes in the live preview before saving. Pro also adds styling for registration and lost-password pages.
For password-protected content, tailor the form’s header and description, button and label text, input placeholders, error messages, and social media icons. Pro includes two additional password form styles; the plugin has more than 10 one-click templates overall.
Additional controls and first setup
WPEPP includes an AI crawler blocker with a checklist of known bots, including GPTBot, CCBot, and Google-Extended. Preview selected rules before adding them to the site’s robots.txt file. Pro also includes a login activity log.
Install and activate WPEPP Pro in WordPress, then open WPEPP in the dashboard. Use Security to configure the custom login URL, login limiter, two-factor authentication, or reCAPTCHA. Open Form Style for visual editing, and set content restrictions in the relevant access or editor settings. Review changes in the available live preview before saving.
