The add-on listing says Visual Form Builder was closed on October 5, 2026, temporarily pending a full review. Downloads are unavailable through that listing. Product documentation describes Visual Form Builder Pro as a tool for building and managing WordPress forms without writing PHP, CSS or HTML.

Form fields and layout

Add fields with one click, set required fields, then drag them into the order you want. Available field types include text inputs, textareas, checkboxes, radio buttons, select dropdowns, address fields, dates, email fields, URLs, currency, numbers, times, phone numbers, HTML, file uploads and fieldset sections. Add plain or HTML-formatted instructions, and use fieldsets to group related fields.

Forms can use custom CSS and arrange fields in two columns, three columns or a mixture of layouts. Duplicate a form you have built to reuse its styling, and place forms on posts or pages with a shortcode. A single post or page can contain multiple forms.

Entries and data handling

Submissions are stored in the WordPress database by default and managed from the dashboard. Review entries, search submissions, apply advanced filters, and use bulk actions to export entries to CSV or delete them. Entry records can include the submission date and IP address. An option disables saving entries for workflows with GDPR-related requirements.

Confirmations, email and spam controls

After submission, display a customized confirmation message with HTML-formatted text, redirect visitors to a WordPress page, or send them to a custom URL. Send submissions to multiple email addresses and configure a confirmation email for the visitor. The email can include additional HTML-formatted text and a copy of the submitted entry as a receipt.

Each form includes an accessible text CAPTCHA. The documentation also lists reCAPTCHA availability and Akismet support as additional spam-protection options.

Create and place a form

In WordPress, open Visual Form Builder > Add New and enter the form details. Click fields in the box on the left to add them, open each field to edit its information, and drag the components into the desired order. Select Save Form, then add the form's shortcode to a post or page.
