Redirection for Contact Forms Pro: After a form submits
Redirection for Contact Forms Pro is a paid Contact Form 7 add-on for choosing what happens after a successful submission and mail delivery. It uses DOM events to run the selected action while the form keeps its normal behavior, including AJAX.

Choose the next step
- Send visitors to a destination: Redirect to any URL, such as a thank-you page.
- Open a page separately: Open the selected destination in a new browser tab.
- Run a script: Trigger JavaScript after submission, including scripts used for conversion management.
- Carry form values forward: Pass selected fields from the submitted form as URL query parameters for the destination page.
These settings suit contact, enquiry, registration, and other Contact Form 7 workflows. Each lets you choose a different follow-up: a destination for visitors, a separate tab, a JavaScript action, or submitted values in the URL.
DOM events and removed options
Contact Form 7 removed the on_sent_ok and on_submit additional settings in version 5.0. Redirection for Contact Forms Pro uses DOM events for the post-submission action instead of relying on those settings.
Set up a form
- Install and activate the add-on alongside Contact Form 7.
- Open the relevant form settings and select the Redirect Settings tab.
- Choose the page or URL to use after mail is sent successfully.
- Set whether the page opens in a new tab, add any JavaScript action, and select the form fields to pass as URL query parameters.
- Save the form settings and test a submission to confirm the selected process.
