Set up product browsing
Visitors can switch between three catalog layouts without reloading the page. They can filter and sort by category, sub-category, price, product name, and custom fields, then narrow results with dynamic search. Overview mode can display category or sub-category images, such as brand images, before visitors view products.
Premium includes three redesigned responsive catalog styles and four product page layouts, including tabbed and shop styles. Styling options let you adjust their appearance. Product comparison lets visitors choose multiple catalog items to view side by side.
Manage product details
- Add product picture galleries, videos, tags, and SEO-friendly single product URLs.
- Create custom fields for details such as color, dimensions, availability, manuals, or other product information. Use those fields for filtering, with checkbox, radio button, dropdown, or slider controls.
- Set sale prices and enable or disable them across the catalog or for individual products. Choose the currency symbol and its position.
- Let visitors request product information or quotes through an inquiry form. They can also add multiple products to an inquiry cart and send one inquiry for the group. The form can be created using WPForms or Contact Form 7.
- Export products, display product ratings, and add product reviews or FAQs using the Ultimate Reviews or Ultimate FAQs plugins.
For affiliate catalogs, enter a unique destination in the Product Link field. When configured, a product sends visitors to that link instead of its catalog product page.
Connect WooCommerce when checkout is needed
WooCommerce integration is optional. With WooCommerce installed and synchronization enabled, products can be imported into the catalog or exported to WooCommerce. Supported product updates are connected, so editing a product in either add-on also updates it in the other.
Visitors can add catalog products to the WooCommerce cart and complete checkout there. Catalog pages can show the cart item count, or product links can lead directly to the corresponding WooCommerce product page.
Automatic WooCommerce synchronization uses scheduled tasks. If sync does not progress, verify that WP-Cron or a configured system cron is running; synchronization depends on one of these schedulers.
Add the catalog to a page
Insert the Display Product Catalog block, or use a catalog shortcode with its ID, such as [product-catalogue id="X"] or [product-catalog id="X"]. Other blocks and shortcodes can display individual or featured products, a search field, recent products, product lists, or random products. Block and shortcode options include a starting layout, excluded layouts, and sidebar visibility.
Install and configure the catalog
- Install and activate the extension in WordPress. The setup walkthrough starts automatically.
- Use the walkthrough to create initial products and a catalog.
- Organize products into categories and sub-categories, then add prices, media, links, tags, or custom fields.
- Choose catalog layouts, styles, filters, and product page options.
- Place the catalog block or shortcode on the page where it should appear.
- If using WooCommerce, enable synchronization and configure catalog checkout or links to WooCommerce product pages.
