MaxButtons Pro is a premium WordPress add-on for creating buttons, share buttons, and social icons without writing code. The editor updates a live preview as you adjust a design. Create unlimited buttons, copy an existing design as a starting point, and place buttons around your website with shortcodes.

Set responsive options for different devices and screen sizes. Style buttons with color pickers, CSS3 effects, text shadows, box shadows, and gradients, then preview them against different background colors. Predefined defaults provide a starting point, and per-button custom CSS gives you more control over styling.

Pro controls for button content

• Add icons or pictures to a button and adjust their placement and size. The included Font Awesome 5 collection delivers additional icon choices.
• Add a second line of text, then set its font, size, and placement. The included Google Fonts collection offers more typography options.
• Use WordPress or theme variables in button text and links.
• Search larger button collections, and import or export configurations for backup or transfer.

Button packs and free icons provide more design options. The button library includes more than 6,000 buttons, with additional professionally designed sets available.

Share buttons and social icons

Share button sets cover Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+, StumbleUpon, Reddit, WhatsApp, and Buffer, with email and print icons also available. To promote a social profile, choose an icon or create a button, add the profile link, and place it on a page with its shortcode.

Integrations and event tracking

MaxButtons Pro integrates with WPBakery Page Builder, Contact Form 7, Beaver Builder, Easy Digital Downloads, and popup builders that open modals. It also works with Gutenberg, Elementor, and SiteOrigin. Google Analytics event tracking lets you view interactions with WordPress buttons in Google Analytics without coding.

Create and place a button

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Open the MaxButtons page from the WordPress admin menu and choose Add New.
3. Configure the button in the editor and complete the required options.
4. Select Save to generate a shortcode, such as [maxbutton id="17"] or [maxbutton name="My Button Name"].
5. Place the shortcode in your content to show the button.

Shortcode parameters let you reuse a design with different text and URLs. You can also set whether a link opens in a new window or adds a nofollow attribute.
