MasterStudy LMS PRO is a paid WordPress learning management system for creating, managing and selling online courses. It gives instructors, coaches, tutors, schools, colleges, universities, learning centers and course marketplaces tools to organize lessons, students, assessments, payments and course access. The Pro edition extends the free add-on’s functionality.

Build courses in WordPress

Use the course builder to arrange a curriculum into sections, then add lessons with audio, video, pictures or slides. Quizzes and assignments can be part of the learning path. Set the lesson sequence, preview individual lessons, pick pricing options and add frequently asked questions to explain course details. This structure can support self-paced training, coaching programs, academic materials and marketplace courses.

Manage learners and progress

Student profiles let learners track progress, resume lessons, review quiz scores and purchase courses or memberships. Schools and other institutions can manage students, grades, lessons and teaching materials. Teachers can edit lessons and communicate through message boards, comments and messages. A gradebook helps monitor progress and performance, and students can receive certificates. Social login lets students sign in with a Google or Facebook account.

Set course access and payments

Sell courses individually or provide access through memberships and subscriptions. Memberships and subscriptions are included without a separate membership plugin. Offer recurring access through monthly or yearly subscriptions. WooCommerce and Paid Memberships Pro can also work with MasterStudy when they are already part of the website setup.

Add live learning

For Zoom meetings and webinars, use the free eRoom plugin to connect the website with a Zoom account and make and manage video conferences from the WordPress dashboard. The MasterStudy Pro addon can also be used to conduct live-stream lessons.

Set up the LMS

Install the MasterStudy LMS plugin on the WordPress website, then activate the paid Pro edition according to its setup process. Open the LMS settings to configure courses, lessons, quizzes, pricing, memberships and student access. Create a course with the builder, arrange its curriculum, add learning materials and publish it when ready. To use webinars or meetings, connect the eRoom plugin with a Zoom account and configure the video sessions.
