Course structure and delivery
Organize courses into chapters, lessons, quizzes, certificates, and assignments. Courses can be self-paced or instructor-led. SCORM support lets you import existing eLearning content, while H5P supports interactive lessons and assessments.
- Set prerequisites, enrollment expiration, quiz retakes, and resume-from-last-chapter options.
- Schedule lesson releases with content drip.
- Create course bundles and subscriptions, apply coupons, and set marked or sale prices.
- Assign multiple instructors to a course.
- Add downloadable materials, attachments, announcements, FAQs, badges, and featured courses.
- Build certificates with customizable templates and QR validation.
Assessments and learner progress
Pro adds assignments, advanced quiz types, a gradebook, and student reports. Instructors can use the reports to review course activity and learner progress from the WordPress dashboard. Quiz questions support formats such as single choice, multiple choice, true or false, and matching, with options for time limits, randomized questions, calculated points, custom grading, and quiz reviews.
Video lessons can include text, video, or YouTube Live content, with picture-in-picture, subtitles, closed captions, and timestamps. Learners can take notes during lessons, preview lessons before enrolling, and use a distraction-free learning page.
Sales, migration, and administration
The platform includes course monetization and payment utilities, with Pro features for subscriptions, bundles, coupons, marked and sale pricing, and the Razorpay payment gateway. Pro integrations include Zoom, Google Meet, Mailchimp, MailerLite, HubSpot, and Zapier. Webhooks support automation with third-party services.
The migration tool transfers courses, quizzes, orders, and student data from TutorLMS, LifterLMS, LearnPress, LearnDash, and MasterStudy. Quiz import and export, bulk add-on management, course archive filtering, and an instructors list page support course administration.
Masteriyo integrates with OpenAI ChatGPT to generate course outlines, sections, lessons, and quiz questions. The AI capabilities require a user API key. Security tools include two-factor authentication, email verification, password strength checking, course content and video protection, and login session management.
Pro and Elite plans
Pro includes the listed assessment, reporting, monetization, migration, and multiple-instructor capabilities. Elite adds white-label support and multisite options for agency and client-website projects.
