Lists are the main organizing unit. Categories apply to lists, while each link belongs to one list. A single list displays in one column; display several lists together to make a multi-column directory. Pro lets you paginate items within a list, while lists themselves are not paginated in the standard one-page format.

For video collections, links to YouTube and Vimeo videos can play in a lightbox. Pro includes 16 templates for single-page mode, with responsive designs for different directory uses.

Create directory content

Bulk AI utilities can generate lists containing links, titles, subtitles, images, and long descriptions. Supported services include Gemini, OpenAI, and Openrouter. The add-on can also generate a title, description, and thumbnail from a website link. Image settings include favicons, Font Awesome icons, uploaded images, image links, and generated screenshots.

Publish and help users browse

Use the shortcode generator or Gutenberg block to add a directory to a WordPress page or post. Pro provides live search and filtering by list or tag, with an option for fixed-position filter buttons. Visitors can upvote links, and registered users can save links to a favorites list. You can also allow visitors to submit links through front-end forms and select whether submissions need approval.

Manage listings and add-ons

Pro works with directory monetization with free or paid listing options, listing packages, and claim listings. Payment options include PayPal and Stripe. You can mark paid entries as featured and place featured listings at the top.

Set up a directory

Install and activate the extension, create a WordPress page or post, then use the shortcode generator to choose which lists and display options to display. Publish the page to display the directory. For large lists, the server's max_input_vars setting can limit how many fields save at once; check the hosting configuration if list changes do not save.
