Build More Flexible WordPress Surveys

Survey Maker Pro is a paid edition of Survey Maker by AYS for creating surveys, questionnaires, and survey forms directly on a WordPress website. It provides an expanded set of utilities for designing questions, guiding respondents through tailored paths, collecting submissions, and reviewing results from one place.

The built-in survey builder supports surveys with unlimited questions, sections, and surveys. Questions and sections can be arranged across multiple pages by dragging them into position. You can personalize the styling and settings, then publish a survey on a post or page with a shortcode. Popup surveys are also available for presenting a survey in a various format.

Advanced Questions and Survey Logic

The Pro edition adds advanced question types such as NPS, Matrix, Ranking, Slider, Password, Hidden, HTML, Phone, and List. It also includes Name and Email fields, along with other listed question settings. These formats can help you structure feedback, ratings, evaluations, and questionnaires according to the information you need to collect.

• Logic Jump: show the next question according to a respondent’s answer.
• Conditional Results: provide outcomes based on submitted responses.
• Conditional Mailing: configure mailing behavior around survey conditions.
• URL parameters and calculation: use additional controls for survey interactions and results.
• Conversational surveys: present a chat-style survey experience.
• Multilingual forms, text to speech, and ChatGPT integration: extend the available survey formats and interactions.

Integrations, Results, and Automation

Survey Maker Pro supports email notifications and configuration, together with integrations including Mailchimp, Slack, Zapier, and Google Sheets. WooCommerce integration and payment integrations for Stripe and PayPal are also listed among the Pro capabilities.

Submissions can be reviewed in the WordPress dashboard. The add-on provides results with statistics and charts, while Pro adds result exports in formats such as CSV and PDF, as well as submission exports. This gives you a way to use collected survey data outside the website.

Control Access and Participation

For surveys that need tighter control, Pro includes scheduling, attempt limits, user roles and permissions, password protection, and user history. The base extension also provides controls such as required questions, redirects after submission, restrictions by IP address and user role, and limits based on the number of submissions.

Practical Workflow

1. Add questions and sections in the survey builder.
2. Customize the survey settings and design.
3. Configure advanced question types, logic, notifications, or integrations as needed.
4. Publish the survey by adding its shortcode to a post or page.

The shortcode format provided in the source is [ays_survey id='your survey id']. Survey Maker Pro is suited to feedback collection, questionnaires, personalized results, NPS surveys, conversational forms, and popup surveys.

Installation and Setup

After the Pro edition is available in WordPress, create a survey from the built-in survey builder. Add the required questions and sections, configure the design and behavior, save the survey, and place its shortcode on the selected post or page. Review submissions and charts from the WordPress dashboard, then export results when required.
