Collect the right details for each product

Product Input Fields for WooCommerce Pro adds unlimited input fields across a store or to individual products. Global fields fit information requests shared throughout the catalog. Product-level fields let you ask for details specific to an item, such as engraving text, artwork, or scheduling preferences.

Choose from 19 field types: Text, Textarea, Number, Checkbox, Radio Buttons, Select, File Upload, Date Picker, Time Picker, Week Picker, Color Picker, Email, Phone, URL, Password, Country, Search, and Range. Use a field to collect a written instruction, offer set choices, request a date or time, or accept an uploaded file.

Set when fields appear

Conditional rules show fields for selected products or categories. Quantity-based conditions can adjust which information is requested according to the quantity a customer selects. Set field titles, labels, placeholders, default values, show positions, priorities, and custom CSS classes to organize the form on the product page.

Mark an input as required when an answer is needed before the product can be added to the cart. You can customize the validation message shown when a required field is left empty.

Review submitted details with the order

Customer input is saved with the WooCommerce order so staff can refer to customization requests during processing. Uploaded documents can also be attached to order emails for access alongside the order information.

These fields can collect details for personalized gifts, engraved jewelry and accessories, printed T-shirts, promotional products, custom cakes, business cards, stationery, photo printing, made-to-order furniture, signage, and other products that need customer notes or special instructions.

Set up product fields

Install the plugin in your WordPress store, then make global or product-level fields. Choose a field type, enter its label and display settings, add required validation where needed, and configure product, category, or quantity-based rules. Review the product page and a resulting order to confirm that submitted details and uploaded files are available for processing.
