Product targeting and sale labels
Assign badges to selected products or categories, all products on sale, or out-of-stock products. The selected products or category determine where each label appears, and you can set multiple badges on a product.
Choose whether a badge is shown or hidden, and set an expiry date and time to control when it stops displaying. Badge text can display the discount percentage calculated from the sale and regular prices. You can also hide WooCommerce’s default “On Sale” badge or replace it with a custom label.
Badge designs and styling
Pro includes the free version’s capabilities and more than 700 predefined badges. The library includes Black Friday and Cyber Monday designs, along with badges for cashback, new stock, coming soon, shipping, returns, and customer satisfaction. It also includes seasonal designs and sale badges for Independence Day, Diwali, Easter, Eid, Women’s Day, and Valentine’s Day.
For a custom look, create advanced CSS badges or use an uploaded picture or one from the WordPress media library. Adjust color, font size, line height, width, opacity, and position. A live preview lets you check the badge’s appearance and placement while styling it; default and commonly used styles are available as starting points.
Sale timers and expiry settings
Pro’s sale timers have customizable style settings for timed campaigns. The separate badge expiry setting controls the date and time when a badge stops displaying.
Creating a badge in WordPress
After activating Product Labels For WooCommerce, open the Badges menu in the WordPress admin area. Choose Badges, select Add New Badge, and set up the label with the available targeting, styling, image, and timing options. Preview the styling, assign it to the relevant products or categories, then choose whether it appears alongside or replaces WooCommerce’s default sale badge.
