Sensei Pro extends Sensei LMS, a WordPress learning management add-on from Automattic for creating courses, lessons, and quizzes. It adds utilities for course sales, lesson timing, student access, assessment, and shared teaching.

Sell courses through WooCommerce

Set a course price and sell it with the WooCommerce integration. Sensei Pro also integrates with the WooCommerce Subscriptions, Payments, Memberships, and Affiliates extensions.

Set lesson schedules and course access

Scheduled content drip releases lesson material at fixed intervals after a student starts a course or on a particular date. Course access periods let you define a start date, an end date, or a set amount of time that a course remains accessible.

Organize students and control what they see

Groups and cohorts help organize students, manage access, and tailor learning for different audiences. Conditional content can display or hide lessons and other content based on groups, enrollment status, and date.

Place interactive content in lessons and pages

Interactive blocks can be added to lessons, pages, or posts. Options include videos, flashcards, picture hotspots, and task lists. Flashcards can contain text, videos, images, embeds, and more on both sides of the block.

Expand quizzes and share course work

Sensei LMS works with multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, true-or-false, free-response, and file-upload questions. Sensei Pro adds quiz timers and ordering questions. Individual quiz questions can also appear in WordPress content outside standard quizzes, including lessons, pages, and posts.

Co-teachers can share course ownership and edit course settings, lessons, and quizzes.

Present courses in WordPress

Sensei LMS works with WordPress themes and can be customized to match a website's branding and style. Create courses with the WordPress Block Editor, use the free Course Theme for course presentation, or enable Learning Mode for an immersive, distraction-free learning experience. The Course List block displays courses on pages or posts. Sensei LMS also tracks student progress and performance with detailed reports.

Install and configure Sensei Pro

Install Sensei LMS and Sensei Pro on a WordPress site, then create courses, lessons, and quizzes with the Block Editor. Configure WooCommerce course sales, schedules, access periods, groups, interactive blocks, and quiz settings to fit the learning model. Dedicated priority support is provided by the engineering team.

On WordPress Multisite, a Sensei Pro license covers one site. The Sensei Agency plan permits activation on up to 20 sites.
