Assemble the media for each slider
Media Slider Pro organizes slideshow setup in a dedicated dashboard. Add images from the media library or YouTube and Vimeo videos, and combine them in one gallery. Each slide can include a custom title, text description, and link to identify portfolio work, explain a photograph, introduce a video, or direct visitors to a related page.
Set the layout and navigation
Choose a full-width or boxed layout, or configure a carousel to display several slides at once. The responsive design is intended to fit different screen sizes, and custom breakpoints provide additional show control. For navigation, select from four or more arrow styles and three or more thumbnail layouts. Responsive thumbnails give visitors another way to move through the gallery. Multiple caption positions control where slide text appears in relation to its picture or video.
Adjust video playback and image dimensions
Video settings include autoplay, looping, and muting. For images, choose from three or more fitting and scaling methods. Force size settings can lock the slider dimensions, while custom width and height fields help set the space it occupies.
Install, configure, and place the slider
Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/add-ons/ or use the WordPress admin installer. Activate it from the Plugins page, then open the Media Slider menu in the dashboard. Select “Add Media Slider,” choose photos from the media library or add video links, and configure the settings. Save and publish the slider, copy its shortcode, and paste it into the page or location where it should appear. Sidebar widget support is also available.
Photographers and artists can display galleries and portfolios. Businesses can present products, services, or project highlights; travel, hospitality, and event sites can combine destination photos with video. Publishers, creators, and agencies can build mixed media showcases or link slides to related pages. The paid edition includes priority email support for product questions.
