Payment providers and form settings

Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on Pro connects Contact Form 7 forms to PayPal, Stripe, or both. Each form has its own provider settings, so forms for different products, services, registrations, or payment requests can be configured separately. When both providers are enabled, users can pick how to pay. PayPal payments require a PayPal account, and Stripe payments require a Stripe account.

When payment is enabled, the form can send its email as usual and then redirect the visitor to PayPal or Stripe.

Prices and choices from form fields

Link a price to any form entry. For dropdown text options with different prices, pipes let you match options to prices. Each form can have up to five separate price components. A form item can supply a quantity when its field contains a number, and option text fields can carry visitor selections into payment details.

Set item names, prices, and SKU or ID values for each form. Tax and shipping can be included in the payment flow where the form setup requires them.

Redirects and email timing

Set a successful payment URL and a cancel payment URL for each form. You can configure the Contact Form 7 email to send only after a successful PayPal or Stripe payment. The Pro version can also skip the redirect based on form elements. PayPal Sandbox testing and PayPal Express are supported.

Payment history and supported options

Find PayPal and Stripe payment history in the WordPress Contact menu under “PayPal & Stripe Payments.” The add-on includes support for 18 languages and 25 currencies. The Pro version does not add a 2% application fee; normal PayPal and Stripe fees still apply.

Installation and setup

Install Contact Form 7 and the Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on, then add the Pro version. Create or edit a form and configure its PayPal and Stripe settings. Choose a payment provider, define item names and prices, connect quantity or option fields as needed, and set the success and cancel URLs. When appropriate, test the payment flow with PayPal Sandbox before accepting live submissions.
