Payment Methods by Product & Country for WooCommerce Pro
Payment Methods by Product & Country for WooCommerce Pro controls which payment gateways appear at checkout based on the products in a cart and the customer’s country. Rules can target individual items or groups of products. A fallback gateway addresses a separate case: conflicting rules in a mixed cart that could leave no payment method available.

Apply rules to products or groups
Product-level rules set gateway availability for an individual item. Variation-level rules let a shop apply different choices to specific versions of a product. For example, a high-end variation can be limited to credit card payments while a standard version remains available through multiple gateways.
Category and tag controls apply at the group level. A store can show selected gateways for products in a category, or conceal selected gateways when products from a category or tag are in the cart. This can leave one category unrestricted, exclude PayPal for another, or restrict a product group to wire transfer by hiding other gateways.
Add a country restriction
Country-based controls restrict gateway visibility by the customer’s country. This adds a geographic condition alongside the product, variation, category, and tag controls.
Account for mixed-cart conflicts
When products in one cart have incompatible gateway rules, the restrictions may leave no method available. The Pro version lets administrators designate a fallback gateway for these cases, helping provide an available option when product rules conflict.
Match gateway choices to products
Products can have different prices, margins, regional requirements, and payment preferences. A store may want to omit PayPal for expensive products and offer wire transfer or a local gateway instead. Lower-priced products may also need different gateway choices when payment fees have a greater effect on margins.
Configure and review the rules
After adding the Pro add-on to a WooCommerce store, define which gateways to show or hide for relevant products, variations, categories, tags, and countries. Review combinations that could conflict and select a fallback gateway where needed. Rules can be adjusted as the catalog and payment requirements change.
