Build a More Useful FAQ and Knowledge Base

Ultimate FAQ Premium Version extends the Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin with tools for creating, organizing, presenting, and maintaining detailed FAQ content in WordPress. It is designed for websites that want to answer recurring questions, reduce support pressure, and help users find information before they contact your team.

Create FAQ entries, categories, tags, and pages, then display them throughout your site using Gutenberg blocks, patterns, or shortcodes. The accordion layout automatically adapts to various devices and site designs. The add-on also works with third-party editors such as Elementor, giving you flexibility when building pages.

Premium Presentation and Organization

The Premium version adds additional FAQ layouts, animation settings, advanced styling controls, and 15 icon sets for toggle symbols. You can also adjust FAQ labels and use drag-and-drop ordering to arrange entries in a way that matches your content structure.

For sites with more detailed answers, custom fields can add information such as links, text areas, dates, and documents. SEO-friendly FAQ pretty permalinks provide another way to structure and present FAQ content. Social media sharing options can help visitors share individual FAQ information when appropriate.

Forms, Search, and Content Workflows

WP Forms integration can automatically load matching FAQs as visitors type in a form. This can help surface relevant answers while someone is preparing a question or request. The extension also includes an FAQ submission form that can be placed with a block or shortcode, allowing visitors to suggest new FAQ ideas and, optionally, provide a suggested answer.

FAQ entries can be imported and exported through a spreadsheet. You can also export all FAQs to a PDF, which may be useful when creating a user manual or providing a reference document. Built-in statistics and view counts help identify which questions receive the most attention.

Structured Data and Multilingual Content

The plugin automatically adds FAQ and FAQPage structured data in LD+JSON format. This gives search engines information about the page content and its FAQ structure. FAQ entries use a post type and can work with WPML, Loco Translate, and Polylang. A current .pot file is also included for custom translations.

FAQ customization can include the elements shown for each entry, such as categories, tags, author, and date. Comments can be enabled on FAQs through WordPress’s built-in comment system, with WordPress comment and moderation settings available for managing the experience.

Installation and Setup

Install and activate the Ultimate FAQ plugin in WordPress. The initial activation includes a walkthrough that helps you make FAQs and add them to a page. After setup, use the available blocks, patterns, or shortcodes to place FAQs where visitors need them, then configure layouts, ordering, styling, custom fields, and other premium options.

The Premium version also includes access to premium AI FAQ generation that can create up to 20 FAQs at a time from multiple selected pages or posts. Generated content can be reviewed before publication.
