Enter data and choose a chart type
Build datasets in a spreadsheet with support for multiple sheets, or import CSV data with a configurable delimiter. CSV import is fully keyboard-accessible; the spreadsheet has partial keyboard support. Screen-reader visitors entering chart data should use CSV import.
The bundled Chart.js library supports 19 chart types: line, spline, area, column, stacked column, bar, stacked bar, pie, doughnut, scatter, bubble, radar, radar area, polar, treemap, boxplot, violin, venn, and euler. The preview redraws as you edit data and chart settings.
Choose how to show and embed each chart
Render a chart as a live interactive visualization, a static image, or a plain HTML data table. Each chart is automatically saved as a PNG without extra software or an external service. Set the image width and choose a quality multiplier from 1x to 4x. Static pictures can be used in RSS feeds, emails, AMP pages, and other places where JavaScript charts may not work.
Embed charts with a shortcode, the block editor block, or an iframe, including on other sites.
Set accessibility and presentation settings
M Chart targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Each front-end chart includes a hidden data table for screen readers. Charts fit their containers, defer rendering until scrolled into view, and use lazy loading in the block editor.
Switch the bundled Chart.js theme for an installation, including to the Color Blind Safe palette. Locale-aware number formatting and translation support help charts follow regional conventions and language settings.
For each chart, configure its title and subtitle, axis titles and units, forced axis minimum, legend, shared tooltips, data-point labels, source attribution, and color per data point.
