SchedulePress Pro: WordPress Calendar and Scheduling
SchedulePress Pro is a paid scheduling and content workflow tool for WordPress. Its visual editorial calendar shows drafts and scheduled posts. Add posts to the queue, create content from the calendar, or drag scheduled posts to another date. The calendar gives single-author websites and multi-author blogs a view of upcoming work.
Track the publishing queue by date
SchedulePress Pro is a paid scheduling and content workflow tool for WordPress. Its visual editorial calendar shows drafts and scheduled posts. Add posts to the queue, create content from the calendar, or drag scheduled posts to another date. The calendar gives single-author websites and multi-author blogs a view of upcoming work.
A WordPress dashboard widget also shows draft and scheduled posts, so authors and administrators can check their status in the administration area. SchedulePress supports multiple authors from one place and can send email alerts to authors about blog status.
Choose how publication dates are set
- Auto Scheduler: Create rules to schedule content at specified intervals or set an exact date and time.
- Manual Scheduler: Select a precise date and time for a post.
- Missed Schedule Handler: Automatically publish posts when WordPress misses their scheduled publication time.
- Advanced Schedule: Schedule an update to an already published post or page without drafting or unpublishing it.
- Date-based sharing: Automatically share selected content on selected dates.
Advanced scheduling supports blog and documentation content, including tags, categories, pictures, featured images, and excerpts. When the relevant option is enabled, a post can also publish immediately while displaying a future date.
Set social sharing settings
SchedulePress Pro can automatically share posts when they are published. Supported platforms listed for the plugin include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Medium, Threads, and Google Business Profile.
Set sharing details per platform or use a global template in the editor. Choose the social profiles for each post, personalize templates, or share directly without notifications or reminders.
Use the supported editors
Scheduling is available through Classic Editor, Gutenberg, and Elementor. In Elementor, schedule content from the editor panel, unpublish posts that no longer need to remain live, or republish published posts. A modular control panel lets you enable or disable scheduling from Elementor.
Set up the workflow
Add SchedulePress Pro to your WordPress site, then open its scheduling and social-sharing controls. Choose a publishing method and configure the calendar, author alerts, scheduling rules, or platform-specific sharing you need. Review the relevant Pro options for missed schedules, recurring dates, advanced updates, or multiple social profiles before publishing.
