Review traffic reports
Standard reports cover sessions, page views, bounce rate, top pages, top referrers, top countries, visitor types, and device types. Set a custom reporting period and compare its charts with a previous period to review changes in traffic and engagement.
Measure WooCommerce activity
WooCommerce reports include transactions, average and total purchase revenue, products viewed, products added to carts, products checked out, purchase quantity, and top products, brands, and sources. E-commerce event reports cover product views, category views, add-to-cart activity, and checkout initiation. Purchase event tracking records WooCommerce transactions in GA4.
Check live activity and campaign events
Real-time reports show page views per minute, active users, top pages, top events, top countries, and device types. Google Ads tracking covers WooCommerce purchase conversions. Pro adds conversion events for add to cart, begin checkout, product views, and category views.
Configure events and media tracking
Create custom events with presets and dynamic parameters to track actions such as form submissions and button clicks using CSS selectors. The GA4 Inspector Tool opens a real-time debug panel that checks measurement IDs, the Google Analytics gtag script, and whether the dataLayer is present and working.
Pro reports can track Vimeo video engagement, self-hosted video engagement, and self-hosted audio engagement.
Send events through the Measurement Protocol
Server-side event tracking sends GA4 events through the Measurement Protocol and is designed to capture events that browser-based ad blockers or privacy extensions may block. Client ID and session ID support session continuity. Enable the capability in the plugin options and provide a Measurement Protocol API secret.
Set tracking controls
The plugin includes a GDPR cookie notice and an option to exclude administrators from tracking. Pro also lets you exclude custom WordPress user roles.
To get started, install the plugin and connect with a GA4 measurement ID or Google login. Configure the reports, events, and WooCommerce or Google Ads settings relevant to the website. If using server-side tracking, enter the API secret, then use the GA4 Inspector Tool to check the implementation.
