A Gutenberg base for structured content

Advanced Accordion Gutenberg Block Pro extends Advanced Accordion Gutenberg Block with options for FAQs, documentation, process guides, and other expandable content. The underlying block uses native Gutenberg components and adapts to desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts. Accordion sections can contain text, images, videos, tables, buttons, and other blocks. Nest accordions to organize content into levels, or use a horizontal accordion to place titles, subtitles, icons, and inner blocks side by side.

The base block also includes keyboard navigation, pre-built patterns, global style options, and controls for opening selected sections when a page loads. Styling options include margins, padding, border radius, backgrounds, colors, and typography.

Help visitors find and open content

Instant Search adds a search bar for finding questions or sections in a long accordion list. The Question and Answer style presents FAQ content in a Q&A format. Open All and Close All controls let visitors expand or collapse every entry together.

Read More can hide content beyond a chosen character limit or line count, then reveal the rest when selected. Unique anchor links point to individual FAQ entries, so you can direct readers to a particular answer. Voting buttons collect feedback on each FAQ item, and its total vote count shows how many votes it has received.

Choose a display or navigation style

Activator Event lets you choose click or hover to open an accordion. For ordered material, Steps Layout opens items sequentially and marks previously opened items as checked. Checklist Layout lets readers tick off completed items. Group Accordion blocks can also use autoplay to switch between sections automatically.

Other Pro options include category filters based on custom tags, a Show More button for controlling how many group items appear with each click, custom labels beside single accordion titles, and custom CSS. You can also add featured icons or images, subheadings, colored auto-numbering, and Next and Previous controls for browsing accordion content.

Add and configure an accordion

In WordPress, open a post or page in the Gutenberg editor and add an accordion block. Insert the content, then configure the available Pro options for search, feedback, item links, display, or navigation. Use the responsive and styling settings to adjust the layout for different screen sizes.
