FooGallery Pro is a paid WordPress gallery solution for building responsive photo, image, masonry, portfolio, album, lightbox, and video galleries without custom code. It combines a drag-and-drop gallery builder with live previews, mobile controls, the WordPress block editor, and shortcode support. The available paid editions include PRO Starter, PRO Expert, and PRO Commerce, alongside FooGallery Pro capabilities for more advanced gallery projects.

PRO Starter adds Polaroid, Grid, Slider, and Spotlight layouts, along with hover effect presets and CSS thumbnail effects. The built-in lightbox works with adjustable colors, transitions, captions, and controls, including fullscreen viewing, thumbnail strips, automatic progress, previous and next navigation, and a download button.

Advanced settings let you adjust thumbnail sizes, spacing, hover effects, caption line limits, mobile columns, background fills, and custom attributes. Mobile gallery controls can be tailored for supported layouts, including columns, gaps, masonry settings, justified rows, carousel entries, pagination, caption alignment, slider aspect ratio, spotlight controls, grid panels, and portfolio spacing.

Professional gallery capabilities

FooGallery Pro adds video galleries, filtering, dynamic galleries, advanced pagination, watermarking, mobile settings, and image protection. Video galleries can use content from YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Vimeo, or self-hosted videos, with video support identified for PRO Expert.

For stores and photographers selling images, PRO Commerce integrates with WooCommerce. It can make galleries from WooCommerce products or link each image to a master product. Supported selling tools include product variations, ribbons, custom buttons, lightbox product information, checkout flows, and image file downloads.

Albums include responsive and all-in-one stack layouts. Galleries and albums can be imported or exported between WordPress installations, with progress and resume support for large imports. The add-on also includes one-click gallery page creation, custom CSS for galleries and albums, multisite support, password-protected image galleries, and a migrator for Envira, NextGEN, and Modula.

Workflow and installation

Start by creating a gallery, uploading or selecting images, and arranging them with drag-and-drop controls. Choose a layout, review the live preview on desktop or mobile, configure lightbox and gallery settings, then publish the gallery using the block editor, a shortcode, or a gallery page. When preparing a store, connect gallery content with WooCommerce products and configure the available commerce options.

To install FooGallery Pro, add the paid plugin to your WordPress site, activate it, and open the gallery builder from the WordPress administration area. From there, select the appropriate Pro edition or capabilities for your project and create your first gallery.
