Collect files with each order

File Uploads Addon Pro extends File Uploads Addon for WooCommerce for products that need customer-provided files. Customers can upload images, files, or other files on the product page before adding an item to the cart. Files remain available in the cart, at checkout, and in WooCommerce order details for store owners and shop managers.

Choose which products accept uploads

Use the Pro toggle in the product editor to enable or disable uploads for an individual product. The underlying addon also works with category-level controls. Developers can use a filter hook to restrict uploads to selected product IDs.

Set file requirements and collect notes

• Allow customers to upload multiple files for one product.
• Set a maximum file size.
• Define minimum and maximum picture resolution limits for image-based products.
• Add an instruction field so customers can include context with their files.

These settings let stores specify upload requirements for jobs such as print artwork, where file size and image resolution may affect whether a submission is suitable.

Preview and review submissions

Customers can see a live image preview on the product page before adding the item to the cart. Uploaded files are attached to the new order notification email and remain accessible in the WooCommerce order details screen.

Vendor and platform compatibility

File uploads are supported for vendors using WCFM Multivendor. The source also describes compatibility with WooCommerce Blocks, HPOS, and PHP 8.2.

Products that need customer files

The addon can be used for print-on-demand products, personalized gifts, styling or document services, apparel, signage, and custom goods that require artwork, reference images, briefs, or measurements.
