Organize WordPress Content with FileBird Pro
FileBird Pro gives WordPress administrators a visual folder tree for media and other site content. Media folders are virtual categories: moving a file between them leaves its permalink and uploads path unchanged. The folders change how uploads are arranged in the dashboard; the files remain at their WordPress paths.

Media folders and file handling
Create folders and subfolders, drag files into place, bulk-move uploads, or select a destination folder when uploading. The collapsible sidebar keeps the folder tree available as you work. Use a folder’s context menu to create a subfolder, rename it, assign a color, cut, paste, or delete it.
Search file and folder names in the media library or while browsing images in the page or post editor. Pro includes two folder-sorting methods and ten file-sorting methods, including sorting by file size. Choose Dropbox or Windows 11 styling for folder icons, set a specific startup folder or return to the last-opened folder, and view or change a file’s folder from its details modal.
Folders for posts, pages, and shop content
The free version supports one-level folders for posts and pages. Pro includes multi-level folders for both, along with folder support for WooCommerce products, coupons, and other custom post types. User-based folder view lets administrators and other users create personal categories without changing another visitor’s folder structure.
Export and migrate folder structures
Export a media folder and its subfolders and files as one ZIP while keeping the folder structure. The complete WordPress media folder structure can also be exported for migration to another site or backup. FileBird Pro can import and synchronize folder structures from Enhanced Media Library, WP Media Folder by JoomUnited, WordPress Media Library Folders by Max Foundry, Real Media Library, and HappyFiles.
Selected theme and add-on integrations
Premium integrations cover selected themes, page builders, translation tools, and other extensions. Examples include Avada, Divi, Enfold, Uncode, Jupiter, Flatsome, Salient, XStore, KLEO, Bricks Builder, Elementor, WPML, Polylang, Beaver Builder, Visual Composer, Oxygen, Thrive Architect, Classic Editor, Slider Revolution, EWWW Image Optimizer, and FooGallery.
Getting started
Install and activate FileBird Pro in WordPress, then open the media management area. Create folders or subfolders and drag existing uploads into them, or select a destination folder for new uploads. Use the migration and export tools when bringing in or preserving a folder structure.
