DeepL Pro API plugin: Translate from the WordPress admin
The DeepL Pro API add-on connects WordPress to the DeepL API for translations into different languages. From the administration area, you can translate posts and pages. In the standard post editor process, use the Translate button on the edit screen; the selected text may include the title, excerpt, and content.

Paid edition workflows
Paid editions extend translation to products and meta fields, and support batch translations. They also include translation for posts, pages, and strings, plus a display of current and remaining API usage.
The paid version works with content editors in the same way as the free version, including editors such as Elementor and Blocks. Compatibility depends on the editor and website configuration. Test your setup before purchase; the plugin does not guarantee that every editor will work perfectly with the DeepL API.
Requests and API access
For post editor requests, data is sent only when you click Translate in the editor metabox. Translations do not execute automatically or in the background. The request sends the selected text, your DeepL API key for authentication, and the source and target language codes to DeepL servers over HTTPS.
An active DeepL API subscription with API access is required. Both DeepL API Free and DeepL API Pro work with the plugin. Standard DeepL User and Teams plans do not include API access and cannot be used for this purpose. Review the applicable DeepL terms, privacy information, and API documentation before connecting the service to WordPress.
Install and configure
Install the paid plugin in WordPress, activate it, and configure the connection with your DeepL API key. If you are replacing the free version, test your site configuration first and follow the plugin's upgrade requirements. Then open an editable post or page, use the translate control, and check the usage display. For products, meta fields, or batch work, use the relevant paid workflow and review the results in the WordPress administration area.
