Go Live Update Urls Pro is the paid edition of Go Live Update Urls. It replaces an old site address with a new one across a WordPress database for domain changes, rebrands, migrations, and moves from staging to production.

Choose which data to update

Select individual tables or grouped sections, including tables created by add-ons. Site addresses may appear in posts, pages, picture URLs, excerpts, post metadata, custom post types, widgets, options, settings, and other website content. Pro handles serialized, encoded, and JSON data across tables.

The plugin identifies tables that may not be safe to update. Review those tables before proceeding. Back up the database before attempting an update in a table marked as not safe.

Test changes and review reports

Enter the old and new URLs, then test the proposed replacement before applying it. The test report shows how many URLs would be affected and where they are located. Real-time reporting shows counts and locations for URLs due to be updated.

Predictive URL entry can fill in the old and new site addresses. An option can also correct common URL entry mistakes. After an update, review its report and history, which include counts and locations of changed URLs. You can also view and use the history of the site's address.

Use the dashboard or WP-CLI

The plugin works with single-site and multisite installations. In the WordPress dashboard, open Tools and select Go Live, then select the tables or sections to include. WP-CLI support provides a command-line option for URL updates.
