Create and personalize sliders in Elementor
Prime Slider Pro adds slider widgets to Elementor’s drag-and-drop editor. Add a widget to a page, arrange its content, select a layout, then adjust styling, animation and navigation with visual controls. Use sliders to feature a homepage hero, present posts or products, display media and logos, or organize information in a carousel.
The Prime Slider collection is described as including 57 or more widgets, eight skins, three essential features, a slider extension and more than 120 ready-made sliders. Available formats include hero, logo, image, content, carousel, post, video, WooCommerce product and testimonial sliders.
Set slide content and user controls
Controls cover layouts, colors, fonts, titles, buttons, animations, arrows and the appearance or placement of navigation. Slides can include clickable elements, including interactive videos. Autoplay can advance slides automatically and pause on hover; users can also browse manually using navigation controls. The layouts adapt to phones, tablets and desktop screens.
Widgets support touch-swipe navigation, keyboard controls and responsive breakpoints. Accessibility capabilities are intended to help screen-reader customers. RTL and translation-ready support are also included.
Post, custom and store layouts
Pro post designs include Fluent, a full-width blog layout; Knily, with floating thumbnail tabs; Marble, which presents posts along a horizontal timeline; and Material, a clean content display. Custom slider options include Astoria, Avatar, Crossroad, Custom, Escape, Flexure, Fortune and Monster, with different approaches to hero sections, pictures, social sharing, transitions, navigation and custom templates.
WooCommerce layouts include Woolamp, a minimal product slider, along with options for circular product shows. Other available widgets include remote arrows, fraction pagination and thumbnail controls, plus WooCommerce-focused Woo HotSpot, Wooexpand and WooStand.
Load assets for the widgets in use
Prime Slider uses on-demand asset loading: only the CSS and JavaScript for widgets placed on a page are loaded. You can disable unused widgets in the Prime Slider admin dashboard. The plugin is described as lightweight, fast-loading and caching-friendly.
Prime Slider works with Elementor Free and Elementor Pro, and supports WordPress themes and WooCommerce content. Elementor Pro is not required for the free widgets. Image titles and alt text can be set in the slider controls.
Install and add a slider
Install Prime Slider through WordPress, then open the target page in Elementor and add a slider widget. Choose a layout, then adjust its content, styling, navigation, animations and responsive options. Live Copy/Paste can bring demo slider sections into Elementor, and the Duplicator can copy posts, pages or Elementor templates.
