Cookie categories lets visitors accept or reject individual categories. It suits websites without programmatic ads, including sites using Google Analytics or Google and Microsoft ad tags for conversion and remarketing. Visitor choices pass to Google Consent Mode v2 and Microsoft UET Consent Mode. For sites showing programmatic ads through Google AdSense, Google Ad Manager, Google AdX or other ad networks, select IAB TCF 2.4. That banner can appear to all visitors or only to visitors in the EU or EEA.
The plugin also works with TCF Canada, CCPA USP, US state consent signals and IAB GPP 1.1. It works with Prebid.js and Amazon APS through IAB TCF 2.4, and is compatible with the WP Consent API and cookie ePrivacy consent.
Set the banner language, style and region
The base plugin includes 11 banner styles, such as Bottom Sheet, Floating Card, Dark Compact and Popup. It supports 52 or more languages, with an option to use the visitor’s browser language. A privacy options button lets visitors revisit their choices, and the privacy badge can be shown or hidden. For IAB TCF, GEO targeting can show the banner to everyone or limit it to visitors in the EU or EEA.
Premium adds custom banner text, translations and CSS styling, along with custom purposes and vendor settings. The first-party CMP domain and priority support are also included in the Premium plan.
Review consent activity and manage tags
Premium includes a consent rate analytics dashboard, website cookie discovery and disclosure, and ConsentDB consent logging. JavaScript and cookie blocking help apply collected choices to third-party tags, including Facebook Pixel and LinkedIn Pixel. Header bidding support covers Prebid.js and Amazon APS.
