Business Directory Plugin Premium Plans extend a WordPress listing manager and directory builder. Create a directory without writing code for local businesses, real estate, services, companies, association members, school staff, medical providers, professionals, or other groups. Organize listings with custom fields, categories, images, and search. Owners can edit their listings without access to the WordPress dashboard.

Compare tools for finding and managing listings

Paid annual plans add settings such as Google Maps, ZIP code search, ratings and reviews, claim listings, and discount codes. Premium file uploads let listing owners attach PDFs, text files, and images. Ratings and reviews connect to individual listings and include Schema.org markup.

Maps and ZIP code search can help visitors find nearby businesses. Reviews provide feedback on individual entries. Claim listings can give businesses a way to manage their information, while discount codes can support a directory promotion or listing offer.

Set up listing content and placement

Build forms with fields such as phone numbers, hours, price ranges, photos, and other information. Image uploads support drag-and-drop uploading, reordering, primary picture settings, and thumbnail sizing; limits depend on the plan. Import businesses, members, or staff from a spreadsheet in one upload.

Display the main directory with [businessdirectory]. Use [businessdirectory-listings] to place selected categories and tags on other pages. Featured, latest, random, and search widgets can display directory content in sidebars.

Set listing and payment options

Offer free or paid listings, one-time or recurring plans, and different plans for different categories. Free and premium listings can appear together. Featured or sticky placement can be offered as a paid upgrade.

Stripe and Authorize.net process payments in the free plugin. Stripe uses pay-as-you-go pricing until you upgrade to a paid plan; Authorize.net has no per-transaction fee. Manage directory plans and prices from the WordPress dashboard.

Install and configure the directory

Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, then choose Create required pages for me in the setup notice. The directory page is created with the main shortcode in place. Add listing shortcodes or widgets to other pages and sidebars, configure fields and plans, and import existing data as needed.

The directory is mobile-friendly and responsive with well-built WordPress themes. It supports multilingual directories with WPML and integrates with Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, NavXT Breadcrumbs, and WP-PageNavi.
