Configure add-ons for WooCommerce simple products

WPC Product Options Premium adds fields and priced choices to simple products. Use them to collect customer details and preferences for personalized goods, made-to-order items, services, and products with specific requirements.

Apply reusable choices across products

Create premade fields in Global mode and apply them to multiple products by product type, category, tag, brand, or attribute. Use Override to set custom add-ons for an individual product, or Disable to conceal global add-ons where they do not apply.

Collect details, selections, and measurements

The builder supports 23+ types of custom add-ons and fields:

• Text, textarea, email, number, and file upload
• Radio, image radio, color radio, checkbox, image checkbox, color checkbox, and choose fields
• Dimensions for measurements such as width, height, and length
• Color picker, date picker, date and time picker, date range picker, and timer picker
• Heading, paragraph, separator, spacer, and shortcode fields

Arrange fields with the drag-and-drop builder. Set each field’s title, required status, description, price, default value, and limits. A shortcode field can insert content such as a countdown timer or size chart into the options area.

Choose how each add-on price is calculated

A flat fee can be a fixed amount or a percentage of the main product price, such as 10%. Quantity-synced pricing treats the add-on price as a unit amount and multiplies it by the main product quantity. Premium also supports custom price formulas for add-ons that need a specific calculation. Formula variables include p for price, q for quantity, v for value, and l for length.

Add options to your products

Make sure WooCommerce is installed. Install and activate WPC Product Options Premium in WordPress, then open WP-admin > Product Options to make global options. When adding or editing a product, use the Product Options tab to add fields. Choose Global for reusable options, Override for that product’s custom fields, or Disable where global options should be hidden.
