PiWeb Disable payment method / Partial payment for WooCommerce PRO
PiWeb Disable payment method / Partial payment for WooCommerce PRO applies checkout changes when an order meets a rule’s conditions. A rule can hide or disable a payment gateway, add a fee, or make a partial-payment or cash-on-delivery (COD) option available. You can show a reason when a payment method is unavailable.
How payment rules affect checkout
PiWeb Disable payment method / Partial payment for WooCommerce PRO applies checkout changes when an order meets a rule’s conditions. A rule can hide or disable a payment gateway, add a fee, or make a partial-payment or cash-on-delivery (COD) option available. You can show a reason when a payment method is unavailable.
For example, a rule can disable COD when a customer chooses a various shipping address, hide PayPal when the billing country is not the United States, or restrict Stripe when the billing state is not New York.
Set gateway availability by order and customer details
PRO supports unlimited payment-disable rules. Conditions can use a product, category, shipping method, shipping zone or class, minimum subtotal, cart total, cart item quantity, backordered products, postcode, city, state, country, or day of the week. You can also use a customer email, selected users, user or customer role, coupon code, currency, or days since registration.
Apply fees and set partial payments
Create unlimited conditional fee rules for selected payment gateways. Examples include COD fees by country, shipping zone, or postcode; gateway fees by country, user, or role; product-specific gateway fees; and percentage-based credit-card processing fees.
Partial payments let a customer pay an amount in advance and the balance on delivery. The customer may also pay the remainder before delivery. Set the partial amount as a percentage of shipping charges, a percentage of the order subtotal, or a fixed amount. PRO supports unlimited partial-payment rules, including conditional rules and currency-based settings. You can set different amounts by country, state, postcode, or shipping zone, and make COD available only when its conditions are met.
Products can be excluded in two ways. If an excluded product is in the cart, you can hide the partial-payment option; alternatively, the customer can pay the full amount for that product while paying partially for other items.
Handle other checkout cases
You can blacklist email addresses or IP addresses to prevent matching users from placing orders. A partially paid or COD deposit order uses the “Partially Paid” status. The rules also support multi-currency stores, including conditions based on the currency selected by the customer.
Setup and compatibility
Install and activate the plugin in your WooCommerce store, then configure the payment-disable, fee, partial-payment, or COD rules you need. Test them with representative carts and customer details before using them for live orders. The Free and PRO versions are HPOS compatible. Partial payment does not support the WooCommerce Checkout Block; use a classic checkout page with the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.
