Bring YouTube content into your website
YourChannel Pro is a WordPress add-on for displaying YouTube videos and playlists directly on your own website. It is intended for creators, publishers and businesses that want to present video content alongside their website pages rather than directing users away to YouTube for every interaction.
The extension uses shortcodes to place video displays in pages, posts or custom fields. A visual builder helps you configure the show and delivers a live preview before the shortcode is added to your content. The basic setup begins with entering a YouTube username or channel ID, selecting the desired settings, saving the settings and copying the generated shortcode.
Pro content sources
The Pro version can display videos from a playlist, videos based on a search term, comments and custom playlists created by entering video IDs. This extends the standard channel and playlist presentation with additional ways to curate the videos shown on your website.
Displayed elements are optional, so you can select which available information to include. Depending on the selected configuration, the display can include uploaded videos, playlists, total video and view counts, single videos, playlist videos, search results or comments.
Presentation and playback options
YourChannel Pro supports lightbox or inline video playback. It includes seven video thumbnail styles, responsive presentation, RTL support, font icons and smooth transitions. An autoplay option is also available. These controls let you adapt the video area to different page designs and content layouts.
The shortcode works in pages, posts and custom fields. Files load only when the shortcode is present, and a cache system is included for fast loading. Shortcode instructions are available in the post editor, helping you place a configured video display where it is needed.
Website-ready interface
The plugin includes a built-in GDPR overlay and supports translation of interface terms such as Videos, Playlists and Loading. A quick translation form is available for UI terms, and the plugin is translation ready. The responsive layout allows the same embedded content to be used across different screen sizes.
YourChannel Pro cannot list unlisted or private videos and playlists, so the YouTube content selected for display must be available to the plugin through the supported public sources.
