ACF PRO for Structured WordPress Content
Advanced Custom Fields lets you add fields to edit screens for posts, pages, visitors, taxonomy terms, media, and comments. Define fields with the field builder, select where they appear, and let editors enter structured content in WordPress. Developers can load and show field values in theme templates, from a single value to content assembled through a more complex query.

ACF also lets you register custom post types and taxonomies through its interface, supporting content modeling without another extension for that task.
Choose how editors enter content
ACF PRO adds utilities for content that repeats, follows a chosen layout, or needs a custom editing interface.
- Repeater Field: Group subfields into sets that editors can repeat for lists, recurring details, or content sections.
- Flexible Content Field: Define multiple layouts and their subfields, then let editors assemble page sections from those options.
- ACF Blocks: Develop custom block types for the WordPress Block Editor, also known as Gutenberg, using a PHP-based framework.
Manage shared options and images
- Options Page: Add custom administration pages for editing ACF fields and managing information outside individual posts or pages.
- Gallery Field: Create customizable picture galleries within WordPress editing screens.
- Clone Field: Reuse existing fields and field groups when similar settings are needed in multiple places.
Set up the editing workflow
Install ACF PRO in the WordPress website where you want to manage structured content. Create field groups, assign them to the relevant locations, and configure the PRO functions your project uses. Editors enter values in the assigned screens; developers can retrieve and display those values in theme templates.
Documentation and developer guides explain how to build with ACF. The ACF Community Forums let users search existing questions or start a discussion, though replies from the support team are not guaranteed.
