WP Hide Post Pro lets you manage where supported WordPress content appears. Hide posts, pages, media, custom post types, and WooCommerce products from selected site locations while keeping them on your site. When you conceal an item only from listings, its direct URL can remain available. Single-item hiding, a 404 redirect, or Hide Everywhere changes how visitors can reach it.

Choose locations for each content type

Available visibility options depend on the item. They can include the homepage or blog page, category and tag archives, author and date archives, site search, RSS and XML feeds, widgets such as Recent Posts, navigation links, and the REST API. Individual posts, pages, media items, and products can also be hidden from their single views where supported.

For WooCommerce products, controls cover the shop page, product categories, product search, and the WooCommerce REST API. Media settings apply to pictures, PDFs, and other attachments, with options for the homepage, archives, search results, feeds, and REST API.

Manage visibility in WordPress

A status column in the administration lists shows where posts, pages, media, and products are hidden. The plugin also works with widgets such as Recent Posts. Pro adds Quick Edit for changing visibility from list screens and Bulk Edit for updating multiple posts, pages, media items, or products at once. Pro can also remove the hidden-status column from administration lists.

Pro options for access and indexing

• 404 Redirect: Redirect hidden content to a 404 page. Pro extends this option to all supported content types.
• Hide but keep in search results: Hide an item from selected site listings while allowing search engine indexing.
• Hide Everywhere: Remove a post, page, media item, or product from all site locations.
• Premium support and updates: Included with the Pro offering.

These settings manage where content appears. They do not provide role-based content restrictions.

Apply visibility settings

Open a post, page, media item, custom post type, or WooCommerce product and use its Post Visibility controls to choose the locations to hide it from. Choose one or more locations, save the item, then review its listings and direct-link behavior. Use Quick Edit for an individual change from a list or Bulk Edit to update several items together.
