Start with a schedule for each location
Business Hours Indicator Pro manages opening information across a WordPress site. The Pro edition works with unlimited locations, multiple time slots per day, caching, and additional display options. Multiple daily slots fit businesses that close for a break and reopen later. Add seasonal hours, special dates with different opening times, and vacation hours as schedules change.
Choose how schedules appear
Show hours in a table or inline. Combine days that share a schedule, highlight the current day, select a 12-hour or 24-hour time format, and set a preferred time zone. You can decide whether holiday and vacation hours appear in the output.
Blocks and shortcodes can display a location’s hours or its current open or closed status. They can also show content only while the business is open or closed. Four widgets provide the core schedule and status outputs in widget areas. A shortcode can specify a location with an attribute; if the attribute is omitted, it uses the first location.
Build messages around opening status
The message builder combines dynamic codes for information such as today’s hours, whether the business is closed, when it will open again, and whether closing time is near. Messages can include the current time and day. Edit open and closed messages, then format the output with line breaks and separators.
A countdown can show the time until the next opening or closing. Configure how far in advance an opening-soon or closing-soon message appears.
Control orders while the business is closed
For WooCommerce stores, the Pro edition can disable orders and conceal the Add to cart button while the business is closed. Pro capabilities also include SEO features and abbreviated day names.
Connect the data to your website
The developer API provides calls to check whether a named location is open or closed and to retrieve opening hours, special opening hours, and vacation data. CSS classes are available for styling the business-hours output to match the site.
Listed frontend translations include Dutch, German, English, Greek, Spanish, Italian, French, Bulgarian, Swedish, Danish, Slovakian, Slovenian, Lithuanian, Croatian, Russian, Czech, Norwegian, Finnish, Icelandic, Catalan, Latvian, and Hungarian.
Install and configure
Install and activate the Pro edition in WordPress, then open its settings. Set the preferred time zone, enter locations and regular hours, and add special dates, vacation periods, and display preferences. Place a block, shortcode, or widget where the hours should appear. For WooCommerce, configure the order and cart controls for closed periods. The listed requirements are PHP 7.0 or higher and WordPress 3.7 or higher.
