Configure floating actions for WordPress

Buttonizer Premium package lets site owners place floating buttons, sticky menus and popups on WordPress pages. Configure each action and its display rules; users then pick the chat, contact, sharing or navigation option that suits them. You can create unlimited single buttons or interactive menus with more than 40 click actions.

Actions, layouts and display rules

Available actions include calls, email, SMS, web URLs, contact forms, downloads, printing, copying a page URL, Google Maps route navigation, scrolling and opening popups. Social sharing buttons and links to social channels are also supported.

Group actions in one floating menu and choose a stacked layout, pop animation, corner-circle arrangement or square layout. Style positions, colors, borders, labels, fonts, icons and backgrounds. Import and export templates to reuse button configurations across sites.

Set visibility by device, page, user role or schedule. Page rules can target a selected page, categories or tags, and URLs containing specified text. Schedule rules can use dates, days and times, with exclusions for particular dates. Rules determine where and when visitors see each button.

Chat channels and popups

Supported chat settings include WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business, Facebook Messenger, Formilla, Telegram, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Snapchat, Signal, LINE, WeChat and Viber, among other channels. WhatsApp settings can include a phone number, picture, custom message, multiple agents and opening hours. Mobile and desktop visitors can be directed to the relevant WhatsApp destination.

Buttonizer accounts include an integrated Formilla live chat experience. The Popup Builder has professionally designed options for announcements, promotions and coupon codes, with display filters for scrolling, devices, pages and specific times. JavaScript click actions can launch other live chat products. Listed Pro options include webhook support, iframe widgets and custom JavaScript code.

Premium monitoring and chat features

Premium real-time visitor monitoring shows active visitors and details such as country, recently viewed pages, referring website, new or returning status, IP address, operating system and browser. Premium proactive chat can start after a defined number of seconds. ChatGPT-based and custom chatbots are paid add-ons; they can respond to common questions, qualify leads, book meetings or provide product and service information.

Buttonizer also provides an analytics dashboard for interactions, leads and conversions, and click actions can be tracked in Google Analytics. Font Awesome versions 4.7, 5, 6 and 7 Pro are supported, with more than 2,025 icons available. Labels can appear on mobile, desktop or both.

Set up and publish

Install and activate Buttonizer on the WordPress site. Create buttons or menus, choose their click actions and destinations, then configure styling and visibility rules. Connect any required chat service and review how each action works on the pages and devices where it will appear. For Premium monitoring or proactive chat, configure the available Buttonizer and Formilla settings. Configure chatbot add-ons separately if you use them, then publish the buttons.
