Choose a button style

Button Plugin Pro lets you create custom WordPress buttons, social icons, and social share button sets. Its Pro feature list includes nine button types, such as simple, icon, social, and drop-down buttons, plus CSS3-inspired 2D and 3D styles. Seven social button sets support social links and sharing-related layouts.

Gradients, hover effects, unlimited color settings, and more than 500 Google Fonts give you choices for styling text and buttons. These styles can suit navigation, calls to action, social links, and other button-based interface elements.

Set the visual details

Use the visual editor to configure font size and family, text and hover text colors, alignment, padding, height, width, background and hover background colors, borders, border radius, and border style. You can also set text shadows and their colors, button shadows and hover shadows with associated colors, container margin, and custom CSS. A live preview lets you review styling changes while editing.

Place buttons on your site

Buttons can be placed in widget areas or in content that accepts shortcodes, using the available widget and multiple shortcode selection options. Placement therefore depends on the widget areas and shortcode support provided by your WordPress website.

You can prepare a social set for repeated use or configure individual button styles for specific links and page sections.

Set up a button

Install the plugin in WordPress and open its options. Create a button or button set, choose a type, and add any required icon or social styling. Configure its text, colors, dimensions, borders, shadows, and hover options, then review the design in the live preview. Place it using a widget or the appropriate shortcode selection.
