Review what happens to user content
The plugin can reassign posts belonging to a deleted user, and an option lets you delete that user's comments. A deleted account cannot be recovered, so review the account and content settings before making deletion available.
Set access and endpoint settings
Pro lets you exclude selected user roles from the frontend deletion option and customize the delete account endpoint, identified as wpf-delete-account. These settings let you define which roles can use the capability and which endpoint it uses.
Plan the site's data-erasure process
The frontend erasure option can support a website's GDPR-related data handling. Site owners should assess how account deletion fits their own requirements.
Install and configure the deletion flow
Install and activate the Pro extension. For a WooCommerce site, users can access the automatically created Delete Account tab in My Account. For another site, add the shortcode or Gutenberg block where the option is needed, or use the Elementor widget in an Elementor layout.
Review post reassignment and comment deletion, then configure the endpoint and excluded roles as needed. Test the frontend flow with an appropriate account before making it available to users.
