WordPress plugin
WP Fastest Cache Premium
Page caching generates and stores static HTML from dynamic WordPress pages, which can help reduce initial server response time and page load time. Automatic preload creates cache files for the website without waiting for each page to be visited. The Premium edition adds mobile and widget caching along with more controls for scripts, images, fonts, and database maintenance.
WP Fastest Cache Premium extends page caching for WordPress
Page caching generates and stores static HTML from dynamic WordPress pages, which can help reduce initial server response time and page load time. Automatic preload creates cache files for the website without waiting for each page to be visited. The Premium edition adds mobile and widget caching along with more controls for scripts, images, fonts, and database maintenance.
Cache scope and maintenance
Set a general cache timeout or choose timeout settings for specific pages. Cached files are cleared when a post or page is published. Settings let you enable or disable caching for mobile devices and logged-in visitors. Mobile Cache creates cache files for mobile devices, while Widget Cache stores widget output.
- Exclude pages and user agents from caching, or use a shortcode to block caching for a particular page or post.
- Delete cached files and minified CSS or JavaScript files from the plugin options. Cache clearing is also available through WP-CLI.
CDN and proxy delivery
WP Fastest Cache works with SSL and CDN integration with Bunny CDN, Cloudflare, and other providers. CDN integration changes static resource URLs so those assets can be served by the CDN. When a cache purge is initiated, the Cloudflare integration can clear Cloudflare's cache through its API. Proxy Cache supports Varnish integration, clearing proxy-cached content when WP Fastest Cache clears its own cache.
Premium optimization tools
Minify HTML Plus, Minify CSS Plus, and Minify JavaScript reduce unnecessary characters, comments, and whitespace in supported files. Combine JS Plus merges JavaScript resources. Defer JavaScript is designed to address render-blocking scripts, while Delay JS can help reduce the "Reduce unused JavaScript" warning in PageSpeed Insights.
- Optimize Images and Convert WebP
- Google Fonts Async and Lazy Load
- Database Cleanup for items such as post revisions, trashed posts and pages, spam or trashed comments, transient options, and orphaned metadata
- Disable Emoji, which removes the emoji inline CSS and wp-emoji-release.min.js
These options work alongside page caching, Gzip compression, browser caching, expires headers, and CSS and JavaScript combination. Review settings against the site's theme and delivery setup. Avoid running multiple caching add-ons together; examples to disable while using WP Fastest Cache include LiteSpeed Cache, WP-Optimize, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, SiteGround Optimizer, and Breeze.
Setup sequence
Install and activate the add-on in WordPress, then open its settings. Start with page caching and preload. Review mobile and widget caching where the site needs those cached outputs, then test minification, JavaScript combination, and deferred or delayed scripts. Image optimization, WebP conversion, lazy loading, and Google Fonts Async address media and resource delivery. Set exclusions for pages, users, or agents whose content should not be cached. After changing settings, clear cached and minified files so the updated configuration can apply.
