Greek invoice details in checkout
Timologia for WooCommerce PRO adds invoicing fields to WooCommerce checkout for stores that need to collect Greek business details. Customers requesting an invoice can enter a VAT number, tax office, and profession with their order.
When an invoice is requested, the VAT, tax office, and profession fields can be required. You can change the invoice dropdown labels from Yes and No to wording such as Invoice and Receipt. The company field can be moved alongside the invoice fields; when moved, it becomes required. Required fields can be marked with the required CSS class.
EU VIES checks and AADE details
When EU VIES validation is enabled, the customer’s VAT number is checked. A failed check stops the order and notifies the customer. If validation succeeds, the VIES response is saved in the administrator’s order screen. VAT validation can be disabled.
The AADE workflow can validate customer VAT details and fill fields automatically. A backend option can retrieve VAT details from AADE and make a customer account.
Customer profiles and order handling
Administrators can view or edit invoice details in the customer’s user profile and in the order details. For phone orders, they can pull saved information from the user profile and edit it as needed. Invoice fields can also be included in emails sent to customers.
Features listed as coming soon
PDF invoice creation with custom numbering, PDF receipt creation with custom numbering, and POL39 are listed as Coming Soon. Treat these as planned entries rather than available features.
Installation and compatibility
The listed requirements are WordPress 3.5.1 or newer, Apache 2.1 or newer, and PHP 5.4 or newer. The listing also warns that the add-on has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases and may have compatibility issues with newer versions.
