Place Order Without Payment for WooCommerce Pro lets customers submit orders before payment is collected, while keeping the standard WooCommerce order flow. This suits B2B and wholesale purchases, quote requests, and offline or manual payment workflows where the shop needs to review an order, confirm pricing, issue an invoice, or arrange payment later.

Apply pay-later checkout to selected orders

Set rules by product, category, or user role to control which orders or customers can use the pay-later workflow. The plugin can remove the payment section from checkout. Optional direct checkout lets customers skip the cart, which can suit a focused order form for a particular product or process.

Use checkout for an order or a quote request

Choose custom Request Quote and Place Order experiences to match the transaction. With the quote option, customers submit orders as quote requests without payment. The store can confirm pricing or other details before arranging payment, which can support wholesale purchases and bulk-order enquiries.

Continue the order after submission

• Send automatic email reminders for pending payments.
• Customize email templates to match the store’s brand.
• Add direct Pay for Order links for later payment.
• Remove unnecessary checkout components.

Orders are marked Processing by default. The order status can be changed in the plugin options.

Setup and confirm the checkout result

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Open the settings page and adjust the order, checkout, and status options.
3. Configure which products, categories, or user roles use pay-later rules.
4. Choose the Request Quote or Place Order experience.
5. Set up pending-payment reminders, branded email templates, and direct Pay for Order links as needed.

The plugin is tested with recent WooCommerce versions. If checkout shows a no-payment-method error, check that the checkout page contains the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode and that at least one payment method, such as Cash on Delivery, is enabled. Documentation covers setup and support.
