Store events and the values they report
Connections include Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Meta/Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, Microsoft Ads, OpenAI ads on ChatGPT and Hotjar. GA4 Enhanced E-Commerce records shopping funnel events. Google Ads Dynamic Remarketing can build audiences from product interactions, while Cart Item Tracking can provide cart data to Smart Shopping and Performance Max campaigns. Meta remarketing events include ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase.
For subscription sign-ups, the Pro subscription value multiplier reports the expected lifetime value. The Payment Gateway Accuracy Report helps identify gateways linked to drops in conversion tracking, and customizable filters let you refine tracking output.
How Pro handles conversion data
Browser pixels send events from a user’s browser. Pro adds server-side connections, including Conversion API (CAPI) integrations, so supported destinations can receive conversion data from the store. Available connections and matching settings depend on the platform. Pro includes Advanced Matching, Enhanced Match and Enhanced Conversions where the relevant connection supports them.
Automatic Conversion Recovery (ACR) runs nightly to identify and recover missed conversions. Pro also includes Advanced Order Duplication Prevention, customer lifetime value on orders, and an option to send server-side events when browser pixels did not load. Deferred loading waits until the first interaction to load the tracking library, which can support page-speed scores.
OpenAI ads on ChatGPT have a browser pixel; Pro adds a server-side Conversions API connection and Advanced Matching. Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session recordings are listed as Pro beta features.
Consent and store administration
The plugin supports Google Consent Mode v2 and more than 15 consent management platforms, so tracking can respect visitor consent choices. Region-specific consent defaults help configure tracking for the EU, UK and US states. Pro also includes Google TCF support.
Payment gateway redirects, order duplication, AJAX product loading and infinite-scroll product lists have dedicated tracking support. Tracking can be disabled for selected visitor roles, such as staff or test accounts. Through the Abilities API integration, AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT can discover, read and update tracking settings.
Setup sequence
Install Pixel Manager for WooCommerce in WordPress, open its settings and enter the tracking IDs for the platforms in use. Configure consent management, review event and filtering options, then check the Payment Gateway Accuracy Report. Pro customers can then configure the supported server-side connections, matching options and Automatic Conversion Recovery.
