Woody Pro: WordPress Code Snippet Manager
When an analytics script belongs in the site header but should skip administrators, create a JavaScript snippet, select the header placement, and set a user role condition. Woody Pro lets you manage that code and other snippets from the WordPress admin without editing theme files. Snippets are stored in the WordPress database, separately from the active theme.

Choose a snippet type and location
Use PHP snippets for functions, hooks, classes, and global variables; JavaScript for analytics, integrations, and interactive features; CSS for custom styles; and HTML for markup. Text snippets hold reusable content, ad snippets hold ads or banners, and universal snippets can combine PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Place snippets in the site header or footer, before or after post and page content, around a selected paragraph, in archives, categories, or taxonomy pages, or between posts on archive pages. WooCommerce locations include before or after product lists, single products, and product summaries, as well as after a product title, price, or excerpt.
Set conditions for when snippets execute
Advanced conditions can target device type, browser, operating system, JavaScript availability, ad blocker detection, user country, visit depth, time of day, and total visits. Other available controls include user role, registration date, page, post type, taxonomy, referrer, and cookie value. Combine conditions with AND and OR logic to define when a snippet appears or runs.
Reuse snippets in content
Insert snippets in posts, pages, widgets, and page builders with shortcodes, or use automatic placement. Woody Pro lets you choose custom shortcode names that are easier to read and reuse across sites.
Organize and revise your code
Use tags, cloning, priorities, and import or export utilities to manage snippets. Priorities control execution order, and enable or disable controls determine which snippets are active. Pro saves revisions automatically so you can view earlier versions, compare changes, and restore a previous version. Cloud-based snippet templates let you save and reuse snippets across multiple sites.
Use the built-in editor
The editor includes syntax highlighting, line numbers, configurable indentation and tab size, optional line wrapping, automatic bracket and quote closing, and highlighting for matching variables and functions.
Review code before enabling it
Create a snippet in the WordPress admin, select its type and placement, set any conditions, then enable it when ready. Review custom PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML before use because unverified or outdated code can affect site security or stability. Woody does not support multisite installations.
