WordPress content in folders
Wicked Folders Pro adds folder management to the WordPress admin. Use it to organize pages, posts, and most custom post types. The Pro edition also supports media, visitors, and extensions, along with WooCommerce products, orders, coupons, and reviews; Gravity Forms forms and entries; and TablePress tables.
Create folders as needed; no folder limit is specified. Drag and drop to arrange folders or move items. An entry can be assigned to multiple folders, and the unassigned items folder gives you a view of content that has not yet been placed.
Folder structure and controls
- Clone folders, optionally including their child folders.
- Set custom colors and define a folder color palette.
- Search the folder tree and review each folder's item count.
- Use breadcrumbs to see your location and navigate to parent folders.
- Resize or hide the folder pane to fit your working area.
- Open a folder context menu for common actions, or choose multiple folders to delete them together.
Dynamic filters and page hierarchy
Dynamic folders filter content by author, date, category, and other available criteria. The last selected dynamic folder is remembered when you return to a content screen. For pages, a hierarchy dynamic folder presents parent pages as folders and shows the child sections of the selected page.
Media and page builder support
Media folders work wherever the WordPress media library appears, including supported editing contexts. Wicked Folders also integrates with popular page builders, including Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and Beaver Builder.
Permissions and customization
The Pro edition includes folder permissions and private folder structures. For custom development, it provides a REST API for interacting with folders, plus filters and an object-oriented architecture intended to support customizations.
Getting started
Install and activate Wicked Folders Pro in WordPress. Folder management is enabled for pages after activation. In the WordPress admin, open the Pages screen, select the plus icon in the Folders panel, and make a folder. Use drag-and-drop controls to organize pages, then set up folders for other supported content types.
