MailerSend pay-as-you-go
The add-on routes WordPress transactional messages through MailerSend’s dedicated SMTP server. These can include form submissions, account notifications, e-commerce orders and other transactional email. WordPress hosts commonly use the PHP mail() function, though configuration varies by host. MailerSend sends through its own infrastructure and provides a dashboard for email activity and performance.

Choose capacity and billing
MailerSend pay-as-you-go is intended for higher email volumes without a long-term commitment. It may fit sites with changing sending needs or organizations that prefer flexible billing. Premium plans start at $30 per month for 50,000 emails per month. Service information also lists a free allowance of up to 3,000 emails per month; paid plans are available when that capacity is not enough or more sending capacity is needed.
Verify a domain for sending
Sending requires a MailerSend account and a verified domain. Add and verify the domain, enable SMTP for it, then enter the resulting credentials in the WordPress add-on. MailerSend describes its infrastructure as designed to help improve inbox performance, avoid spam filters, prevent blocklisting and lower hard bounce rates. Its email authentication practices are intended to help protect your domain reputation.
Review activity and tracking
The dashboard reports open rates, bounce rates and click-through rates. MailerSend can also monitor opens, clicks, open locations and devices. You can use your own subdomain and a custom tracking link to add context when reviewing recipient engagement.
Connect apps and receive replies
Zapier connects MailerSend to thousands of other apps for customer experience processes. Webhooks provide instant push updates, and the inbound route feature lets you receive customer replies sent to your domain.
Set up the plugin

Test the connection, then send a transactional message to confirm it is working. Support is available through contact settings or live chat in the app, with a dedicated team working 24/7.
