Choose a campaign format
Campaigns can appear as lightbox or fullscreen popups, slide-ins, notification or free shipping bars, floating-button and sidebar popups, and welcome mats. Inline campaigns can be embedded in page content; the Embed Campaign block is marked experimental.
Set timing and audience rules
Triggers determine when a campaign appears. Page load, clicks, hover, external-link clicks, floating buttons, and manual JavaScript are available. Pro adds scroll, element visibility, exit intent, AdBlock detection, and user inactivity triggers. Smart Tags can insert dynamic values into campaign content.
Display conditions can target pages, posts, URLs, dates, devices, browsers, locations, languages, referrals, visitor status, and previous popup or form activity. Pro conditions also include user and role rules, selected post details, and additional targeting settings.
Use shopping context for offers
WooCommerce conditions can use cart contents and value, purchase history, viewed products and categories, product price and stock, and total spend. Campaigns can promote upsells, cross-sells, related products, frequently bought together items, coupons, limited-stock notices, best sellers, or recently viewed products. A free shipping bar can show progress based on the current order value, and a cart reminder can refer to items a shopper left behind.
Collect leads and connect forms
The Gutenberg Form block collects email addresses and can send submissions to a CRM. Forms can send email notifications and use a built-in honeypot, Cloudflare Turnstile, or hCaptcha for spam protection. Supported connections include MailChimp, AcyMailing, Brevo, GetResponse, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Salesforce Web-to-Lead, and Zapier. FireBox can also show forms made with Elementor, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, and Ninja Forms.
Support other visitor tasks
Campaigns can present contact forms, feedback requests, meeting bookings, quizzes, surveys, phone-number collection, support offers, and custom quote requests. They can also promote social networks, notify visitors about external links, show WordPress login popups or maps, and restrict content. Shortcodes and Smart Tags can add existing or dynamic content.
Review campaign activity and revenue
Campaign analytics include views, form submissions, and conversion rates. Revenue Attribution tracks View-Through Revenue and Conversion-Through Revenue for WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads, connecting campaigns with sales for review.
Create and publish a campaign
Install and activate FireBox in WordPress, then pick a campaign format and message. Add a form or offer if needed, set display conditions, and connect a relevant store or email service. Preview the campaign, test its triggers and form submission flow, then publish it on the selected pages.
