Login status and online status
Login status shows whether a user is logged in, logged out, or failed to log in. Online status shows whether the user is online, idle, or offline. Session duration records how long the user stayed on the site during a session, while last seen information indicates recent activity.
Device and role details
The Pro edition records whether a login used a mobile device, such as a tablet or phone, and can record a proxy IP. Browser and operating system details describe the device environment. Role information includes the current role and the old role held when the user logged in.
Controls and notifications
- Automatic logout: Log out idle users after a selected number of minutes, with role selection available.
- IP address control: Configure masking and hiding of user IP addresses.
- Email alerts: Receive notifications for successful or failed logins, choose roles, and modify email templates.
- Automatic record deletion: Delete records older than a selected number of days, with role selection available.
- Role tracking: Limit tracking to selected roles.
Automatic logout, record deletion, and related scheduled behavior use WordPress Cron Job.
Exports, search, and reports
Administrators can export records as CSV and enter a CSV separator. A customizable shortcode can display records on the front end, and advanced search filters can narrow the listing. Reports include a timesheet, users who have not logged in during a selected date range, and login-device counts based on IP address.
The network admin area offers a multisite view with records fetched from blogs in the current network. Guest users are not tracked; the listing covers registered users’ login activity.
