Set schedules and locations

Create one-time, multi-day or recurring events in the WordPress dashboard. Add dates, times, durations and descriptions, then set a daily, weekly, monthly or custom recurrence, such as the first Monday of each month. Pro lets you save reusable venue profiles with addresses, maps, contact details and website links. Add speaker profiles with names, titles, bios, photos and social links, or duplicate an event with its existing details and settings.

Publish calendars users can browse

Display a monthly calendar or an upcoming events list with a Gutenberg block, Elementor widget or shortcode. Visitors can switch between month, week and day views. Responsive layouts and optional dark mode support different screens and preferences. Organize events into calendars or categories, add customizable tags, and let visitors filter listings. Date and time formats can be adjusted to match a website locale or preference.

Register attendees and manage responses

Use Stripe to accept card payments for paid event registration. Free events can offer tickets without a payment provider. Registration forms can collect details such as meal choices, shirt sizes or company names. Pro includes RSVP management to track who is going or not going, along with attendee and ticket holder details in the WordPress dashboard. Export attendee or event lists to CSV.

Send email updates to ticket holders from the dashboard when schedules or venues change. Customize supported ticket, receipt and RSVP email layouts with a header image and colors, preview messages, and insert event details with smart tags. Supported confirmation emails can include an Add to Calendar button and an ICS file.

Connect meetings and calendars

Connect a Zoom or Google account to add a Zoom meeting or Google Meet link from the event editor. Sugar Calendar makes the meeting and displays joining details on the event page. A recurring Zoom event uses one join link for the series.

Pro can sync events with Google Calendar in either direction, including recurring series. Calendar feeds, subscriptions and Add to Calendar controls let visitors save events to Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook or Apple Calendar, or download an ICS file. For venue maps, configure a Google Maps API key in settings; event addresses can then appear as interactive maps on event pages.

Handle submissions and event data

Accept frontend event submissions through supported form plugins, including WPForms, Gravity Forms and Formidable Forms, then review submissions before publishing. Import events from calendar ICS URLs, set a resync schedule and review past sync runs. You can also import a JSON event export, or export events as JSON or CSV with a selected date range. A one-click migration tool brings events, calendars and other details over from The Events Calendar.

Set a custom event URL when visitors should go to an external event or ticket page.
