Designil PDPA Thailand Pro extends the Designil PDPA Thailand consent add-on for WordPress sites serving people in Thailand, including international websites that collect information from customers in Thailand. The consent popup presents visitors with a choice, and personal data collection scripts execute only after consent. The visitor's choice is stored in a cookie; administrators can set its duration and reset consent from the dashboard to display the popup again.

Cookie details and script placement

Organize cookies into named groups and describe the cookies and scripts used on the site. Pro works with unlimited cookie groups, including separate choices for categories such as analytics and marketing. Administrators can set expiry conditions and durations, add descriptions, and place scripts before, after, or on a page. All three positions can be used when needed. The base plugin lists Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel among its supported tracking utilities.

Popup settings and visitor choices

Customize popup text and the wording of all consent buttons. Pro provides four popup modes and nine popup templates, with background blur, loading effects, and light and dark modes. The plugin also lists 14 themes. Administrators can control the reject button and automatic consent behavior, enable an admin mode for testing, and show a mini popup after a visitor consents or closes the main popup.

Cookie groups can be arranged before and after consent so visitors can make choices about different categories. Administrators can reset stored choices in the dashboard, allowing the popup to appear again for previous and new visitors.

Consent entries and withdrawal requests

Pro can record each consent or refusal. Administrators can set a maximum retention period, view and filter records, show them in a table, download them, or export them as CSV. Options include filtering by date and time, clearing records, and keeping records only for visitors who accept.

A request form lets visitors ask to withdraw consent. Administrators can configure notifications and email recipients, manage requests and status updates, and set due dates. The form can be restricted to logged-in users and can set a maximum upload size for identity documents. The plugin also provides security controls for uploaded identity documents.

Site setup and policy templates

Pro includes cache-proof operation and Designil Dynamic Caching, which generates CSS and JavaScript files for use with caching extensions and CDN setups. Other controls include template overrides, multiple-language support, and JSON settings import and export. The plugin is designed to work with WordPress themes and does not use jQuery.

Basic Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy templates are available to edit for the site's information. The Privacy Policy template references Thailand Data Protection Guidelines 3.0 from the Faculty of Law at Chulalongkorn University. Treat the templates as starting points and adapt them to the site.

2. Activate the Pro edition to access its additional controls.
3. Configure popup text, appearance, button wording, cookie groups, descriptions, and expiry settings.
4. Add relevant scripts in the required before, after, or page positions.
5. Review consent behavior and reset stored consent from the dashboard when needed.
